SPSS Commuter Licenses
In order to use SPSS 16.0 off of campus or even offline, full-time faculty and staff will need to check out a commuter license. SPSS checks its license against the licensing server every time it is run. This has to be done on the campus network. If the computer is not on campus, it has to have a checked-out commuter license. The number of licenses is limited and each license is only good for a maximum of seven days, so it is important to check them back in once they are no longer needed.
