Adding Sound Clips
Adding sound clips to a presentation is a simple process. Once you find a sound clip you want to use, simply go to Insert on the menu.
Practice: Inserting a Sound Clip
- Download the austinmail.wav file.
- Go to Slide 6 and place your cursor at the end of the title "BamaMail Account Quotas".
- Click Insert on the menu bar, point to Movies and Sounds, and click Sound from File.
- Browse to the file you downloaded, select it, and click the OK button. Then click the Automatically button to indicate that you do want the sound to play automatically.
- Double-click the sound icon
to play the sound clip. Save the presentation and go on to the next section on Applying Special Effects.

The Insert Sound dialog box opens.


A sound icon of a speaker appears in the middle of the slide to indicate that a sound clip is available as shown below.
