Training Facilities
Most computer classes are taught in the Office of Information Technology's teaching lab, located in A-342 Gordon Palmer.
The majority of computers in the lab are PCs. There are 15 PCs total, with one reserved for use by the instructor. The instructor's computer is attached to a projection system. All PCs are 733 MHz Windows 2000 machines with 256 MB of RAM.
There are also two Macintoshes with G5 processors. Most instructor-led classes can support up to two users on Macintoshes; please make this request when signing up for a class.
All computers have the necessary software to support the classes taught. This includes, but is not limited to, e-Course, Microsoft Office, Macromedia Dreamweaver, and Adobe Pagemaker.
