Hiding Slides
You can temporarily hide slides so they won't show up during a presentation.
Hiding a Slide
Practice: Hiding a Slide
- Open your NCS presentation.
- Go to Slide 8, click Slide Show on the menu bar, and then click Hide Slide.
- The slide number is marked in the Slides tab so that you know that it is hidden as shown below.
- Go to Slide 1, and then click the Slide Show View button
to view the presentation. - Press the spacebar or click the mouse button to go through the slides. When you get to Slide 7, the slide show skips Slide 8 ("NCS, Keeping the Worker Happy!").
- Press the spacebar to continue through the slides until the slide show is complete and return to Normal View (or press the Esc key twice to stop the show and return to PowerPoint).

Unhiding a Slide
The process to "unhide" the slide is similar.
Practice: Unhiding a Slide
- Go to Slide 8, click Slide Show on the menu bar, and then click Hide Slide. This toggles Hide Slide to off for Slide 8.
- Go to Slide 7, switch to Slide Show View, and press the spacebar, mouse, or arrow key to view Slide 8--verifying that it now appears in the slide show.
- After viewing Slide 8, return to Normal View and save the presentation. Then go on to the next section on Using the Pointer Pen.
