Click on the picture to insert it in the middle of the current slide. For different options such as copying and previewing, slect the dropdown list indicated by the arrow beside the clip art--the arrow only becomes visible when you roll over the image.
Picture Tools
With the ClipArt image selected, the Picture Tools tab becomes visible. In the new PowerPoint, some tools only appear related to the current activity. These are called "contextual tools."
Some of the tools that appear when you select the clipart allow you to adjust brightness, color, and contrast as well as arrange the clipart in relation to other objects on the slide. You can also apply picture borders and effects such as beveling, 3-D rotation, reflections, and shadows using the Picture Tools commands.

You can either drag the white circular resize handles to increase and decrease the size of the clipart or use the Size grouping of commands on the Picture Tools toolbar to enter a specific size. At the corner of the Size group is a dialog box launcher that opens the following dialog box:
The dialog box provides additional options for sizing, positioning, and providing alternative text when loading the object in a Web browser.
Recoloring ClipArt
Using the Picture Tools commands, you can also recolor clipart. On the Picture Tools tab, go to the Adjust group and click on the Recolor dropdown menu indicated by the black triangular arrow beside the Recolor icon. This accesses a Color Modes and Dark/Light Variations palettes as well as Theme Colors palette (if you select More Variations).
Unlike in PowerPoint 2003, you can't recolor individual parts of the clipart.
Online ClipArt
Additional ClipArt is available at Office Online. There is a link to online clipart at the bottom of the Clip Art Task pane that appears when you insert clipart using the Illustrations group command on the Insert tab.
